I had been following Shoulder of Orion The Blade Runner Podcast since it’s first episode on Friday 11th August 2017. Excitement for Blade Runner 2049 was at fever pitch, and when I discovered via Facebook that a BR centric Podcast was coming…I thought, “finally someone is doing one!”

Presented by Jaime Prater, and Patrick Greene, the show gives an in depth look into the Blade Runner universe. From; production, interviews with cast such as Joanna Cassidy, our friend Paul M.Sammon, in depth scene analysis, and more. Brilliantly, and intelligently presented, I would recommend giving it a listen.

Being a listener for 5 years or so, I heard an episode in 2022 (Blade Runner’s 40th Anniversary) where the guys suggested they may want to talk to fans as part of the celebrations. So I reached out to Jaime on Facebook, and after chatting for a while it turned out he would be visiting Manchester, from Los Angeles, January-February 2023. So we arranged to meet for drinks and a chat.
